To refer for children’s speech, language and communication needs, please see the guidance below outlining the supporting documentation required alongside the referral.
Follow these steps
Making a referral
If the child or young person lives in the Swindon area, please follow the guidance below before making your online referral.
Guidance for language needs
- If the child is preschool age, please complete the following:
- The Early Years Toolkit
- Appropriate page of the BRISC for the child’s age
2. If the child is school age, please complete the following:
- DLD Bubble Toolkit
- If the child is below the age of 7, please also complete the appropriate page of the BRISC for the child’s age
Guidance for speech sound needs
- Please complete the speech sounds checklist using the picture provided
- If the child is below the age of 7, please also complete the appropriate page of the BRISC for the child’s age
