Our Neurology and Stroke Service offers you therapy and nursing input after a stroke or a neurological diagnosis. It supports adults who want to work on rehabilitation, improve their independence, mobility and balance, or need help with conditions affecting their thinking, planning and memory.

About the team
Our team includes a range of specialists in neurology and rehabilitation – including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses and rehabilitation assistants.
We help adults who have had a stroke – or a brain or spinal injury. We support you to regain independence, rebuild skills and improve your quality of life.
We can also help if you have a neurological condition, such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), motor neurone disease (MND) and a movement disorder.
If we are not the right service, we will help you find the right place to go.
Who this service is for
We can usually help if:
- You have had a confirmed stroke
- You have a neurological condition like Parkinson’s disease, MS or a brain injury
- Your independence was impacted by your condition and you want to work on regaining it
We may not be the right service if:
- You need urgent medical attention for a new stroke
- You live outside the area covered by this service
