Respiratory

For:

Respiratory services support adults with their respiratory conditions like Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Interstitial Lung Disease. Services include, oxygen management, pulmonary rehabilitation, preventative and self-management advice and techniques, and lifestyle advice.

About the team

Our team is made up of experts in managing complex lung and breathing conditions – including nurses, physiotherapists and an exercise instructor.

We help people improve their breathing and reduce the daily impact of their lung conditions so that they can get back into the rhythm of life. We also give them what they need to continue managing their symptoms at home, from exercise plans, inhalers and better inhaler technique, to support their independence and reduce unnecessary hospital trips.

As well as giving lifestyle advice and teaching breath management techniques, we can support you with early supported discharge (ESD) to help you return home after going to hospital for COPD or bronchiectasis. We can provide pulmonary rehabilitation programmes, which improve your breathing and lung health through exercise and oxygen assessments and support for home oxygen therapy.

If we are not the right service, we will help you find the right place to go. We will not leave you feeling stuck.
