Making, Changing and Cancelling Appointments

We understand that plans can change. Whether you need to make a new appointment, rearrange an existing one or cancel an appointment you can no longer attend, this page explains the options available and where to get help. Contacting us as soon as possible helps us offer appointments to other people who may be waiting to be seen. If you have communication, accessibility, or language needs, please let us know so we can support you.

Appointments

If you cannot attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. This helps us make the best use of our appointments and reduce waiting times for some else.

Making and Changing Appointments

If you need to change your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. When you get in touch, please have the following information ready if possible: your name, your date of birth, your appointment date and time and any reference number included in your appointment letter, email or text message. We will do our best to offer you an alternative appointment that is convenient for you.

Get Help

Cancelling an Appointment

You may be able to cancel by: telephone, email, online form (where available) or replying to an appointment text message (where available). Please check your appointment information for the available options.

Missed Appointments

If you miss an appointment and do not let us know beforehand, you may need to contact us to arrange another appointment. In some cases we may not be able to offer appointments. Please refer to your appointment letter or contact the service directly for more information.
