If you have a children’s clinic appointment with us at Hathaway Medical Center, we want you to feel comfortable and know how to find us and what to expect on the day. Hathaway Medical Centre is a short drive from the town centre. There is also public transport available which drops you off on the road outside.
Parking at the centre can be tricky because it gets very busy. You want to allow extra time on your journey in case you need to wait for a space to become free. Disabled spaces are also available just in front of the clinic entrance if required. If you’re on foot, you can use the gated entrance and walk past the pharmacy to access the main entrance.
Once you arrive, come through the main doors and make your way to the lift which is on the far side of the reception desk. You don’t need to check-in here because we’ll be expecting you. If you prefer to use stairs, they’re around the corner when you turn right as soon as you into the building.
Our consulting rooms are based on the second floor. Come out of the lift, go through the doors and head down the hallway on your right.
Our friendly waiting room is at the end of the corridor.
You’ll be expected and you don’t need to tell anyone you’ve arrived. Find a seat and your practitioner will come and collect you when it’s your turn. Your consultation will be in one of the rooms that you can see.
There may be a short wait before you’re seen, so you may want to bring an activity to do while you wait. If you need to speak to someone about your appointment, please call the number on your appointment letter. And if you do need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us in plenty of time.
