It provides detailed directions to the hospital location near Sainsbury’s at Odd Down, explains the two car park entrances on Froome Road and Midford Road, and emphasizes that appointments are held in Kempthorn House rather than the main hospital building. The guide walks patients through the parking process, how to locate the building using the big chimney as a landmark, and what to expect upon arrival including check-in procedures and being collected by their practitioner.

If you have a speech and language therapy appointment at St Martin’s Hospital, we want you to feel comfortable and understand how to find us and what to expect on the day.
The hospital is near the Sainsbury’s store at Odd Down in Bath. There are two entrances to the car park, one opposite the Sainsbury’s on Froome Road and another on the opposite side of the hospital site on Midford Road.
Your appointment will be in Kempthorne House, one of the older buildings near the big chimney, not in the main hospital building.
Once you’re on-site, parking is free and easy to find. From the Midford Road side, patient parking is just in front of the barriers. There are more spaces just around the corner using the Froome Road entrance, and both car parks have disabled spaces if needed.
When you’ve parked, look for the big chimney and head towards it.
Kempthorne House is a short walk down the path which isn’t easy to see from a distance. There are lots of signs pointing you in the right direction so you don’t get lost.
Follow the wall and Kempthorne House is the building you can see on the left.
When you get to the building, go through the door and take a seat in the waiting room on the left hand side.
Even if you don’t see anyone when you arrive, we’ll be expecting you and you won’t be forgotten.
Your practitioner will come and collect you when it’s your turn and accompany you into the consultation room.
If you need to speak to anyone about your appointment, please call the number on your appointment letter. And if you do need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us in plenty of time.
